Other Details to Note

If you're planning a winter stay, bear in mind that Northern Michigan is Old Man Winter's homeland. Roads can get slippery and may go unplowed, and events could be rescheduled or canceled. This home was so beautiful and comfortable. I have stayed in numerous Airbnb properties, and I must say, this home is better stocked than all others. The decor is stunning, and our hosts were responsive and detail-oriented. I will absolutely book this home again.

Carrie’s home is beautiful and spacious. The sauna and fire pit are such nice touches to the property, and I loved being able to walk right out and take in the views from multiple vantage points. The home was spotless and we had a blast playing the provided board games. Will def visit again!

The perfect Up North retreat! It’s close enough to Traverse City to enjoy shopping and great food and drinks, yet tucked away just far enough to feel like a private escape in the woods with every amenity you could possibly need or want. Every detail of this Airbnb has been thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed. The hosts were incredibly kind, warm, and responsive, providing wonderful local recommendations and answering any questions right away. Truly a 10/10 stay!

We have traveled extensively and this is on our top 5 Airbnb places to stay. It feels so secluded despite only being 15 minutes from DT. My parents live on Bainbridge Island, WA and this space reminded me so much of home. I love the modern space and the thoughtful touches. There were so many children books and toys for our two year old. The baby/toddler gates were a plus (thank you for supplying this) along with the high chair. Perfect for toddlers!!! We enjoyed the VASA trail and the Brown Bridge trail. We were conveniently located to so many cool spots — Brys Estate and Vineyard, distilleries, TC Pie Co, etc. we had dinner at Amical and I highly recommend all these places. This is our first time in Traverse City and we had a wonderful time. The space is perfect and it’s a total gem. The host was responsive and kind. She offered plenty of suggestions. We will come back here again. Thank you guys for making this memorable for my little family

The place is great. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space as described. It had everything you would need to cook. The lighting starters for the grill were very helpful since I normally don’t use a charcoal grill. Plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. Easy drive to many places in the area but very quiet and private. Carrie was very responsive to questions.
