We had the best weekend staying at Carrie's place. This was our third time staying at The Village at Grand Traverse Commons and it has become our favorite place to stay in Traverse City. We enjoyed the Farmers Market, all the shops, the nature trails, lunch at Spanglish, wine tasting, and dinner at PepeNero. We also did the historical guided tour which was well worth it. The unit itself was spacious, clean and inviting. The furniture was comfortable and we felt right at home. Carrie was a great host and she was very accommodating when the weather affected our travel plans. We would definitely stay here again.

Carrie’s place is perfect for a get away to Traverse City. It’s in a great location located near biking and walking trails that take you around boardman lake and or right into downtown. I would gladly stay here again! Bonus, it’s right next to a climbing gym.

My wife and I had a great stay at the A-Frame cabin. A very quiet and relaxing setting, and everything you needed was in the cabin. There were some thoughtful considerations that I thought made this place a better stay than a lot of the AirBnbs I've stayed in. Things like a box fan in the bedroom and yoga sleep sound machines (for those of us who like white noise to sleep) There were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils that were well organized and easy to find, a hair dryer in the bathroom, all the light switches were labelled to make it easier to remember which switch did what. It was all of those little touches that made this a seamless and comfortable place to stay.

This home was so beautiful and comfortable. I have stayed in numerous Airbnb properties, and I must say, this home is better stocked than all others. The decor is stunning, and our hosts were responsive and detail-oriented. I will absolutely book this home again.

We had a great time with our 2 small kids. The place isn’t huge but it had everything we needed. Huge plus was the loft area filled with kids toys. Close driving distance to everything. Great spot!

We have always enjoyed staying at Grand Traverse Commons. Carrie's place is one that we have wanted to stay at and were glad it was available for our fall trip with friends. The home was comfortable and had everything that we needed to enjoy our weekend. We especially liked how things were labeled in the kitchen! That was very helpful. The beds were comfy! We would highly recommend renting this unit.

What an outstanding getaway in the woods! Between the views, sauna, privacy and toys for our kids, it was everything we were looking for. We can’t wait to come back!

The A-Frame is beautifully finished and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and operable. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was already set up and easy to open/close. After a couple days of exploring, we spent one day just relaxing at the cabin. It was so comfortable, we had no reason to leave.

We stayed at Carrie's A Frame for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was a great time! The gone is in a quiet, private dirt road and the surroundings are beautiful. We greatly enjoyed doing many hikes in the area. Carrie was also very helpful and proactive sending all the instructions beforehand.
